Hi, i’ve upgraded from a motorola v360 to a samsung sgh-e250 slider and when i enter the device setup (*111#) it said it has detected the old cell. what can i do for it to detected the new one. Thanks. Keith

I have to wonder how that comparison would fare if it was Vista vs Linux? We bought a new HP Vista machine and converted an old WIn 2K based desktop to SUSE Linux – http://file.sh/SUSE+Linux+torrent.html . After 2 months the hassles with Linux are far fewer! There are hassles with both, but the Linux hassles are well documented and Novell ($60 SUSE Linux support) actually DOES provide solutions in real English! We are preparing to convert the new machine to Linux as well.

I just got a new china phone and i have tried setting the GPRS but i couldn’t,righ now i don’t know what to do.Pls i need a manual settings 4 my China phone:XKSSTEL 12,Bluetooth,WAP with 2 sim card.

1. +CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”internet”

ii. For Virgin Mobile(South Africa) copy the following into the ‘Extra initialization commands’

Hi everyone.

Got a small problem. Hoping someone out there can fix for me. Recently installed google desktop with sidebar. For some reason, none of the gadgets that need internet connection, are able to use my internet connection.
Im using my phone via bluetooth as a dial up modem. I’ve tried both vodacom and MTN sim cards, both with same result. However, the google search bar that’s permanently in the sidebar, works fine.
I’ve searched google to try solve this problem and have discovered that google gadgets (weather, news, maps, etc.) that need internet connection, use proxy settings.

What are the proxy settings that I need to enter into windows internet explorer’s connection setting?
