Movies Worth Watching (or not)
One of the most frequently asked questions in Stellenbosch is: “What movie can I watch?” Here is a list of recommendations for your viewing pleasure that will grow as I watch them myself, and is ordered by how much I enjoyed it.
- Worth Watching:
- Shooter. Badass sniper
- Blades of glory. Will Farrel and the guy from Napoleon Dynamite.
- NEXT (2007). Nicholas Cage can see 2 minutes into his future. Fun movie.
- 16 blocks. It’s got Bruce Willis!
- Pirates of the Caribean trilogy. Sequals not as good as original, but still worth it.

Not Worth Watching: (ordered by how much it sucked)
- Ultraviolet. Worst movie I have ever seen.
- Spiderman 3. Second worst movie I have ever seen. See Peter Parker in full emo gear, complete with eye-liner and emo-cut, dancing around like Jim Carrey in the streets.
- Night Skies. Boilerplate alien movie.Predictable.Nothing new.
- Evan Almight. Do not waste your time. Horrible movie. Horrible.
